Welcome to the Belcarra and Ioco region of Greater Vancouver!
The region comprises the communities of Port Moody, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Belcarra and Anmore. At one time the terminus of the transcontinental railroad at the turn of the 20th century, the Belcarra and Ioco area is now a captivating recreational spot many residents of the Lower Mainland.
Located east by south east of the Indian Arm, the terrain varies from coastal mountains to sandy beaches, and marshland. Quick and relaxed afternoon walks to day long hiking trips offer rewarding and spectacular views of Downtown Vancouver and south east towards the Tri-Cities, Surrey and Burnaby.
