View of the English Bay seawall in Downtown Vancouver facing Stanley Park
Welcome to the Downtown area of Vancouver including Stanley Park!
Bordered by the Burrard Inlet to the North, Coal Harbour to the East, False Creek to the South and English Bay to the West, Downtown Vancouver offers a variety of different walks and hikes such as the Sea Wall that spans the perimeter of Downtown and into Stanley Park.
You can expect awesome views of the Georgia Strait, the North Shore Mountains and Stanley Park among others.
The seawall spans more than 22 kilometres from Coal Harbour near Canada Place to Kitsilano Beach Park. 8.5 kilometres of the seawall surround Stanley Park.
Stanley Park is 10 percent larger New York City's Central Park.
Since 1990, English Bay has been home to an annual summer fireworks celebration often drawing crowds of more than 100,000 people.
