Welcome to the Surrey, Langley and White Rock region of the Fraser Valley.
An excellent region to experience the wide variety of microenvironments that you can find when hiking Greater Vancouver. Discover lush forests, thriving marshland and pristine beachlines from hiking trails in Tynehead Regional Park in North Surrey, walks in Bear Creek Park, and sandy beaches such as Crescent Beach in White Rock.
White Rock receives on average an annual precipation of 1102 mm (Just over 100 mm more than Ladner and Tsawwassen)
Tynehead Regional Park near Fleetwood is home to a hatchery that raises chinook, chum and coho species of salmon.
