Trail Description
A great alternative during the winter snowshoeing and hiking season. Although the trail can be hiked in standard hiking shoes -- snowshoes are definitely recommended. Because this trail is the less traveled compared to others on Cypress, the snow is much less packed and and requires much more work to traverse in shoes alone.
For added enjoyment weather permitting, try a 'shortcut' and slide down the switchbacks on your return to the trailhead.
