Trail Description
The Bowen Lookout Winter Trail ends with a rewarding view of the Howe Sound, Bowen Island and the Sunshine Coast. This trail branches off of the Howe Sound Crest Trail.
A back country access day pass or season pass is required to pass through Cypress Mountain resort grounds and access the backcountry access corridors that lead to the Bowen Lookout Winter Trail and other winter hiking trails. They are free and are given out at Cypress Mountain Guest Services.
Wooden poles with orange tops are trail markers that are typically spaced about 10-20 meters apart. Ambient light from the ski runs provide partial visibility after dusk.
