Howe Sound and Squamish Valley Hiking Trails

Hiking Regions > Sea to Sky - Howe Sound

Welcome to the Sea to Sky hiking region serving Lions Bay and Squamish Valley

This region spans the Howe Sound just north west of Downtown Vancouver along Highway 99 into the Squamish Valley literally taking you from "sea to sky."

Experience strips of calm beaches and fantastic views spanning the Howe Sound to Bowen, Gambier and Anvil islands -- and the Tantalus mountain range.

Along the route are several locally popular waterfalls like Shannon Falls and Brandywine Falls, the intense vertical hikes up the Stewamus Chief and the recently opened Sea to Sky Gondola.
